Word of the week

Today we went to visit a friend, H, who owns a hardware store in town. H likes teaching the girls about all the different bits of equipment and the girls like being her 'helpers'.
Today there were a stack of pots that needed to be loaded onto a trolley and moved to another wall. Miss J and Miss V dived right in and started stacking, Miss F did not.
H asked her if she'd like to help too, and Miss F replied..

"No thanks. I'm an intellectual."

I do enjoy learning of you and your daughters! How do such tiny persons have such deep thoughts/understanding/boldness? My grandson just turned 3 yesterday and he's been spouting amazing things for at least a year now that seem far beyond his years.

God has surely prepared these little ones for the great trial and tribulations in our troubled world! May we all be diligent and worthy in continuing their proper education.

Trish, I think she was also concerned with not getting her dress dirty. lol.

PW, your comments always give me a warm fuzzy feeling. I glad you enjoy our moment, because I so enjoy sharing them!
Your grandson sounds like a gem. They certainly have business here, don't they?

Kate, it's all fun and games until they think they're smarter than mum. Then it's hilarious, if not slightly bewildering!

Preschool Mama, my heart stops when you say things like that. LOL

Melody, it definitely made me smile - So does reading about your travel adventures :)
