I'm not sure where to post. I've been gone from everyone's blogs for so long, wrapped up in my own little world, grieving William, lost in the five years that have gone way too quickly. I'm so sorry. I'm sorry I missed some of your important days. I hope they were peaceful. There is so much that I could say about this connection, about this month, about lots of things but none of them seem right. Please know that I think of you often, even though I get sucked up in my own pity party, you are never far from my thoughts.
Hey....where's the Kewl darling's header gone? I loved it but I was surprised that you put it up. Nevertheless, I still LOVE the new theme. I particularly love that you have used an image of me on the bottom right. Thank you so much - it has done much for my self esteem (and sagging bum) :)
Thanks for the feedback ladies!! As much as I would love to take the credit for the Kewl make over - It was actually all Sammi. She did the header for the old theme (there's a post about it somewhere from freak fest).. She is a great friend and a graphic whiz.. Even if she is totally of her tits crazy. She is thrilled that the majority likes the change, although she did threaten to hunt down the person who voted, "Are you kidding? I'd rather poke my eyes out than look at this for one minute longer!"... Which I think is hilarious, as she is the one who made that a voting option!!
Sammi actually loves doing graphic type header/image projects... I can pass on her email if anyone would like it.
I'm Alison, and my three most important little people are Miss J, twin sister of Miss F - both 4 going on 14 and big sisters to Miss V - who is an impressive 3 years old and anything but the 'baby' of the family.
No doubt I will find it impossible to stick to one theme for this blog, so here is some background info that will hopefully add some sense the inevitable random posts...
The man of our family, M, is no longer with us in body though he is ever present in mind and spirit.
I used to be active in the performing arts 'scene' - Less so now as my girls take centre stage. Creativity is still a huge part of life, though being directed by three toddlers the art form is somewhat different.
I'm always passionate about dramatic arts and creative expression, especially as a tool for inclusion... Bringing me to my next point of focus - Awareness and acceptance of people with diverse abilities.
I work with people of all abilities doing anything from playing drama games, making music, talking, teaching, learning and always having fun.
I guess one theme I CAN stick to is that last point - having fun. Living a joyful life is the greatest success, I feel.

I like the colours and the psychedelic feel it has.
I love the width and the colours and it feels so fresh!

I like the feel of it too. And it's much easier to read. The white text on black background used to make the whole screen shimmer for me.
It is much easier to read now Lin - I didn't realise how difficult the last theme was until I had this for comparison. LOL
I'm still getting used to all the pastels..
