Path

Today is Photo Challenge Day over at Mountaingirls Musings.
I haven't played in a while, but this week Miss F and I were in the mood for a challenge we could tackle together (as opposed to the kind of challenge where we tackle each other), and this one was perfect.

As always, this photo comes with a Kewl girl moment.
When Miss F was looking at the photo on the computer, I asked her what she was seeing. This is what she said...

"At the start the trees are big and really tall. And there's lots of shade. But look mum! I can see the sun down the path there! It's going to be really sunny soon, mum."

Amen to that, Miss F.

I love the way your girls have such great philosophical and positive perspectives in so many situations--AND--that you share them with us! Thank you all.

Gorgeous, peaceful, enticing.

Miss F's comment reminds me of the forest scene in Snow White where it gets very dark and scary, then turns out to be all cute and fuzzy.

Mama Zen - It is the final cut of over 30 similar ones. The whole process took almost 40 minutes of Miss F sitting on my shoulders, wriggling around trying to get "the rightest angle". I'm glad it was worth it!

Debby - I love the thought. I'm going to hang onto it for a while. Feel free to do the same, won't you?

Rhubarb - Thanks! Miss F certainly has a knack for it.

PW - They are also fabulously philosophical about pooh sometimes. I'll spare you those details though!

Tiff - It is rather enticing. I think I can be more ok with the journey with Miss F's words of wisdom in my mind.

Shygirl - The kewl girls aren't that familiar with Snow White, that might be the next story to introduce them to.

M+B - Thanks. The more I think about it, the more kewl I think it is!
